High-Energy Epoxy-Free Polarizing Beamsplitter Cubes

4/25/2007

BOULDER, Colorado (April 25, 2007): Precision Photonics Corporation (PPC), the leading provider of ultraprecise optics and advanced photonics instruments, is now offering epoxy-free polarizing beamsplitter cubes specifically for high-energy laser applications throughout the visible and near-infrared regions. By combining advanced ion-beam-sputtered (IBS) coating technology with in-house ultraprecise fabrication capabilities and robust, epoxy-free, Chemically Activated Direct Bonding™ (CADB) technology, these cubes offer high extinction ratios (greater than 1,000:1) and high transmission (>95% Tp) while maintaining excellent wavefront quality. In addition, these cubes have been tested to withstand energy densities of >10 J/cm2 at 1064nm in both transmission and reflection. Standard beamsplitter cubes are available in operating ranges of (700nm-1100nm) and 1064nm, and include IBS anti-reflection coatings on all entrance and exit surfaces. Custom cubes are available at other wavelengths and sizes.

Precision Photonics will be exhibiting at Laser. World of Photonics Booth B1 421.
