PPC INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCTS FOR 2008

New Products

PPC has broadened our standard optics product lines to include additional wavelengths as standard catalog components.

Off-the-shelf products now include high-energy UV laser-line mirrors, epoxy-free 355 nm and 532 nm polarizing beamsplitter cubes and dichroic mirrors specifically designed for multi-photon microscopy. All of these components utilize our high-power IBS dielectric coatings and in-house polishing and metrology systems. Click here for more information on new products and capabilities.

Precision Photonics has become an industry member of the NSF Engineering Research Center for EUV

EUV technology

Precision Photonics is pleased to announce that we have joined the Industrial Advisory Board of the Center for Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Science and Technology—an Engineering Resource Center (ERC).

Together with other Optics, Instruments and Semiconductor companies, the EUV ERC is exploring the development and application of compact coherent EUV sources with the intent of making EUV technology available to solve an array of challenging scientific research and industrial manufacturing issues.

The EUV Center was created by the National Science Foundation in 2003, among core partner institutions, Colorado State University, University of Colorado, Univeristy of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Precision Photonics will work in collaboration with the EUV Center in the development of thin-film coatings and optics that are required for generation of EUV radiation.
